Kolorigota Kantlibro is Esperanto for Colour-in Songbook, and that’s what it is!
Esperanto is easy to learn and makes it easier to learn other languages later. You can use it to talk to kids or adults in dozens of countries.
Songs are a great way to explore a new language, especially when you can see the words, gain meaning clues from the pictures and sing along with the audio CD included.
Many of the songs are familiar in English, supporting comprehension. The song titles are written in Esperanto but some you will recognise include:
The alphabet
Train is A’comin’
Doctor Knickerbocker
10 Green Bottles
Brahms’ Lullaby
Dem Bones
It’s a small world
as well as a couple of more grown-up songs for older singers.
There are also special songs for learning colours and objects, courtesies, days of the week and months of the year, and some stories and common expressions.
The book has 35 A5 pages and may be photocopied for classroom use.
