Hand made under Fair trade conditons in the mountains of China, these dolls are a true delight. The local people not only wear this clothing for celebrations and cermonies but also for day to day casual market wear.
The Lahu nationality with the population of 340,000 mainly live in Lancang Lahu borough and Linfen, Simao of Yunnan province, they speak their own language and also Mandarin. They mainly work in agriculture planting main stay foods such as rice and sticky rice. Most live in traditional Ganlan bamboo structure homes.
