All orders are processed and shipped within 48 hours are orders being placed as long as items are in stock (normally within 12 hours)
The shipping charges are a flat rate defined by the order amount.
Orders up to the value of $700 will cost $14.95 *
Orders from $701 to $3500 will cost $25.95 *
Orders over $3,501 will cost $34.95 *
* Larger orders will have freight charged at cost and will depend on what is ordered and where it is to be delivered, we have access to a variety of different freight forwarders to ensure the best value.
*exceptions to this are deliveries to nationwide rural communities which at our descretion we may add a manual surcharge onto your order to cover postage costs.
* WA, TAS or NT postcodes have an additional postage fee to cover costs of an automatic $5, larger orders that require larger shipping requirements may have an additonal manual charge added to this.
* Our Pacific Island, Aboriginal & Maori recycled play mat range are subject to a surcharge per order of $5 Australia wide ie if you order 1 mat will will be charged a $5 surcharge or 3 mats you will still just pay $5 in total - this is to help us offset the high costs of sending this bulky item. Pls note that if you are rural or outback Australia there may be an additonal charge to this - again depending on your order and your postcode.
This additional freight cost will only be added if we feel that the postage charges to get your order to you are excessive and well above the price that has been quoted automatically on line. Australia is a vast land and some Outback or rural communities are expensive to get deliveries too, we simply pass on some of these costs to you.
You information provided on computer servers is in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. Once your order has been complete we will electronically destroy your credit card information for your own peace of mind.
We are happy to ship anywhere in the world, however due to the variety in costs of shipping weights and sizes and geographical location, we will adjust your freight charge to a higher amount that is more in line with your order weight, size and where it is sent to. A minimum of a $2 surcharge will be added to each order to New Zealand and a minimum surcharge of $3 to the rest of the world including the US. If you wish to confirm a price for shipping prior to your order please email us at email@example.com with an idea of what it is you would like to order, where the order needs to be sent ie country and city so that we can research aproximate cost to send your resources to you. Any customs or extra charges required to be paid once the order has been shipped passes to the client and is not the responsibility of Global Kids Oz. We are not able to provide an estimate on what any customs or duty charges may be as each country has different requirements.
Example of cost's to ship to the West Coast of the United States for 1 medium sized soft cover book costs AUD $13.95 (USD $ 12.35 as of September 2, 2010) 1 medium sized South Pacific mat costs AUD $50 ( USD $51 as of October 13, 2010) parcel size 93cm x 43cm. These costs are approximate only and are designed as an indication for you to aid in your purchasing decison and will change with exchange rate movements which are out of the control of Global Kids Oz.
Global Kids Oz does not sell, rent or lease your personal details to any other agency or firm, however they may be used to supply you with further information on our products and services and of our affiliates. Your details are private with us and we believe they should remain that way. We do not partake in SPAM of any sort, our database is sourced through our contacts with individuals and clients whom request to be sent our newsletters and people whom we have had dealings with. At times we are also given email addresses from conferences that we attend and sponsor and from other organisations that feel that their database could benefit from our newsletters and mailouts, these may be valid if approval has been sought from the owner of the email address. At any time you may unsubscribe to our database by using the "Unsubscribe" section on the home page or simply by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the title "Unsubscribe". We will take you off our system immediately.
It is your responsibilty to to ensure that the delivery address that you supply Global Kids Oz, is correct and valid, we will not be held responsible in any way, for an order being sent to the wrong address, unless it is our fault, in that case we will re-send your order to the address that you supplied at our own cost. We prefer you to use a work address to ensure that any order that requires a signature can be delivered to you without delay.
We shall endeavour to have all orders shipped within 2-3 days of ordering. Due to the fact that many of our products are hand made or are simply unique in nature that come from all over the world, delays can eventuate. We will do our best to ensure that all information on our website is current so that you are aware of approximate delivery times if your order is not currently in stock. The client acknowledges and agrees that a late delivery does not constitute a breach by Global Kids Oz or our agreement and does not entitle the client to cancel the order, unless the delay in providing this product to you is outside of an accepted delivery time of 4 weeks from the date the order was placed. We shall advise my email when your order has been processed and sent to you.
If you require an Urgent delivery, please call or email us, we may apply a surcharge for this service if we have to employ staff to work over time to complete your request but we will certainly try to avoid this charge where possible.
If you have not received your order within 14 days of it being sent to you, we will lodge enquiries with the delivery company to assertain the whereabouts of your order. We will not be held liable for any loss, stress or damage caused by the late delivery of parcels or of a parcel not arriving. It is in our best interests to do our very best to ensure that you receive your order in a fast, efficient and orderly fashion, as without you, our client, we have no business. If we know that a product that you have ordered may be delayed, we will contact you to advise you of the status by the email address that you supplied for the order.
Loss or Damage
Global Kids Oz, will not accept responsibilty for any loss or damage to your goods once delivery has taken place. If however, in the unlikely event, that your order arrived in an unsatisfactory condition please email us within 5 days of receipt with an explanation of the issue and send a photo to email@example.com and we will begin formalities and possibly send you a replacement item, it is at our discretion to request the damaged goods returned to our head office prior to a replacment being sent out, if this damage is deemed to be due to freight handling then Australia Post or Fastways may be responsible for this and Global Kids Oz cannot be held liable. However we will work with you to attempt to find a satisfactory outcome for all.
Our Green Policy
Global Kids Oz, supports fair, ethical and sustainable trading and manufacturing standards for all. We pledge to re-use and recycle our own boxes, paper, packing materials when ever we can to reduce our carbot footprint on the planet. Where possible we also purchase carbon offsets for flight travel to help to minimize our impact. Our range of Green Products is expanding as we find useful and good quality products to supply to our client base.
Money Back Guarentee & Return Policy
Global Kids Oz stands behind it's resources. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, please advise us in writing within 60 days from date of shipment from our offices to firstname.lastname@example.org with an explanation and we will action your request for a refund (minus freight costs) and begin instructions on how you can return the goods purchased back to us. A refund will not be granted until receipt of the goods purchased have been received by Global Kids Oz and processed, return postage is at the expense of the client and not Global Kids Oz Pty unless the issue is a fault of Global Kids Oz. We will direct credit any refunds back to your preferred nominted bank account via Internet Banking and will be done so in a swift manner. Please note that this refund policy does not include damage that has clearly been made by the client or their friends and family to the product by reckless or inappropriate means to the product or item, but is covered for damage that is at the fault of Global Kids Oz or our suppliers at the time of shipping and reasonable time thereafter of the products expected life expectancy and care of the product as outlined.
Your welcome to return any order in a re-saleable condition within 60 days to quality for a refund if you change your mind or the product does not meet your needs. A refund will ojnly be given once the products have been returned to Global Kids Oz, all freight costs (both on purchase and return) are at the cost of the client and not Global Kids Oz.
